Please consider helping us as we train pastors and church leaders in Kenya this April; one step in our larger strategy for Kingdom reach, effectiveness and impact through strategic regional relationships around the world. Your support will provide crucial training for young leaders who have no other means to prepare themselves for ministry; you will be making an eternal investment in the next generation of Kenyan church leaders.
In April 2017, we will travel to Kijabe, Kenya to continue a training program with thirty-one pastors and church leaders. The week-long training event consists of fourteen sessions in specific areas of Christian theology, pastoral ministry, and biblical leadership. These classes have been designed to meet the specific needs of church leaders in Kenya.
The training sessions include rich discussion of practical applications and times for open-ended Q&A. Beyond the formal training sessions, God has allowed us to make many one-on-one investments, exhorting these leaders in their personal walks with Christ and encouraging them to embrace biblical leadership practices. God is greatly blessing our investment in the lives of these pastors and church leaders.
The April 2017 training will conclude the five-year program with this set of students. We plan to hold a graduation ceremony during which the students will be charged to continue putting into practice the truths they have learned over the last five years. Lord willing, in 2018 we will begin an advanced training and consulting ministry with some of these same leaders.
